the location and the price was good. I recomand it if you want a place just for sleeping. there were very nice coffee shops around the location.
the dinning room was smelly and the breakfast did not worth 7 euros. night shift staff was not very helpful. but generally the service was not bad. you could hear people through walls. Paris was cold and rainy when we were there and the rooms were not warm enough for sleeping. We had to ask for extra blancket.
Not much to like. Reasonably close to Luxembourg Gardens and has a small lift and a nice tree in die central garden
We were given an atrocious room at first. Wet, small with very small inadequate shower and nil privacy. We were given a slightly better room after I complained. Still far too expensive.Very thin towels, like paper rolls. Poor shower. One manager was helpful, the rest not really.
The best things in this hotel are its location and its low prices.
It does not have comforts.
The proximity of the Quartier Latin
There were no safety bars in the shower. Unsafe for senior.
The Hotel can be quite lively at night so pack your earplugs apart from that It's in a nice part of Paris set in the Latin Area. Hotel De Senlis is clean and tidy but remember your in Paris and the buildings are hundreds of years old, Its not the Marriott but your not paying Marriott prices.Breakfast is 7euros and is very nice with fantastic coffee.
Street noise is a problem.
Old hotel. The room is clean but ugly
elevator, location, price.
room had low ceiling and hard to walk around.
The location was excellent, with a lot of restaurants and bars around, but without any noise from them. The room was spacious and comfortable.
The room wasn't thoroyghly clean. The critical parts (bed, toilet) were ok but other places (courtins, radiator) looked like they hadn't been cleaned for a long time. The breakfast (7e) was basic without any options. The wifi wasnt usable in my room. Price (100Euro) seemed high for the services offered.
The location is outstanding, and it is a very nice area with lots of restaurants and bars around the corner. The hotel is a bit worn, but clean and tidy. Very good value for money!
It was quiet in the hotel, but there was lots of things to see in the neighbourhood.Nice restaurants nearby and cafes.Travel around Paris very easy-metro great.Take RER from nearby station back to CDG lot cheaper than any other method and easy.
Room for the price was satisfactory. We were at back of hotel above 'courtyard' room was smaller than website suggested, very good wide-angled lens!toilet antique and cold water tap produced hot water at night-bit of a surprise!room clean though.
the location..adn the bed.
It's location is excellent, being mid way between the Pantheon and the Luxembourg Gardens, which is a very vibrant area.
Value for money it is very poor. The hotel is despately in need of a major overhaul. The reception and breakfast areas are okay, but the services and our room were not upto a standard that you would expect for the price you pay, compared to other hotels that we have used in Paris.
Staff were helpful. We had house keeping and the room was clean and warm with hot water. I guess I'm one of simple pleasures but I don't spend much time in a hotel just to put the head down. The hotel was on the RER B line straight from the airport and v central.
If I had to find a fault I would say that the curtains didn't close fully and the towels could have been softer but it wasn't really an issue. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment.
needs decorating. very uncomfortable beds and pillows seemed to be years old. woken up at 7am by workmen on staircase laying carpet.
I could get into my room and take a rest before the official check-in time.
